Graded GEM MT 10 by PSA. Among more than 1,200 examples in PSA’s census reporting, only 13.5 percent have been validated at this unimprovable grade. Presented is a 1st Edition Base Set “Red Cheeks” Pikachu. Considered an error card due to the fact that Pikachu’s cheeks glow yellow when it is attacking, this red-cheeked Pikachu was the result of that simple misunderstanding. Colorists assumed the cheeks would be red, as usual, while artist Mitushiro Arita had intended them to be yellow. This error card is in an exemplary pack-fresh state.
